By booking an appointment or using any service provided by Desert Rose Wellness, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before your first appointment.
1. About Us
Desert Rose Wellness is a private wellness sanctuary operating in Borehamwood, North London, UK. All treatments are carried out by Alexandra, a qualified and insured beauty therapist and wellness coach.

2. Booking & Appointments
Appointments can be booked online via cal.com/desertrosewellness, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or written confirmation from us
- New clients must complete a health consultation form before their first treatment
- You must inform us of any changes to your health or medications at each visit
- Please arrive on time — your slot is reserved exclusively for you
3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
48-hour cancellation notice required. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend without notice, may result in a charge of up to the full treatment cost or loss of deposit.
- 48+ hours notice: Full refund of deposit or no charge
- 24–48 hours notice: 50% of treatment cost may be charged
- Less than 24 hours / no-show: Full treatment cost charged
- Cancellations must be communicated directly via phone, WhatsApp or email
We understand emergencies happen — please contact us as soon as possible.
4. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened to avoid inconveniencing other clients. The full treatment price remains payable. If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
5. Health & Contraindications
Your safety is our priority. It is your responsibility to:
- Complete our health consultation form accurately and honestly
- Disclose all medical conditions, medications, allergies, skin sensitivities and recent procedures
- Disclose pregnancy or suspected pregnancy
- Inform us if your health has changed since your last visit
We reserve the right to decline or modify a treatment if we consider it unsafe. Certain treatments — including cavitation, RF, fat freezing and infrared sauna — are contraindicated for clients who are pregnant, have pacemakers, certain implants, or active infections. We will advise at consultation stage.
Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in adverse reactions for which Desert Rose Wellness cannot be held liable.
6. Pricing
All prices are in GBP (£) and displayed on our website. Prices are subject to change. The price confirmed at booking will be honoured for that appointment. Package prices are fixed at time of purchase and valid for 6 months unless otherwise stated.
7. Payments
- Payment accepted by bank transfer, card or cash
- Full payment is due at the time of treatment unless a deposit arrangement has been agreed
- Packages must be paid in full before or at the first session
8. Gift Cards & Vouchers
- Gift cards are non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash
- Valid for 12 months from date of purchase
- Cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions unless stated
9. Results & Expectations
Results from beauty and wellness treatments vary between individuals depending on skin type, lifestyle, health and adherence to aftercare. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes and will always discuss realistic expectations at your consultation.
10. Aftercare
We will provide aftercare advice following each treatment. It is your responsibility to follow this guidance. Desert Rose Wellness is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions.
11. Liability
Desert Rose Wellness is fully insured for professional beauty and holistic therapy treatments. Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided. We are not liable for reactions caused by undisclosed health conditions, personal items lost or damaged on our premises, or any indirect or consequential damages.
12. Photography & Social Media
We may request your permission to use before/after photos for marketing purposes. This is always optional and subject to your written consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
